What counts as a "minute"?+

Total talk time between caller and Vox, rounded up to the nearest second and billed in true minutes. We don't charge for hold, ringing, voicemail drops, or calls shorter than 10 seconds.

Do I need to replace my current phone system?+

No. We port or forward your existing numbers. Vox sits in front of your PBX or cloud provider — Twilio, Vonage, RingCentral, Dialpad, traditional SIP trunks. Deployment is typically a DNS / forwarding change, not a phone-system rip-and-replace.

How fast can we go live?+

Professional plans typically go live in 48 hours. Business in 1–2 weeks including CRM integration and persona tuning. Enterprise with custom deployment ranges 4–8 weeks depending on compliance and integration scope.

What happens when Vox can't handle a call?+

Configurable escalation. Vox can warm-transfer to a human, schedule a callback, send an SMS follow-up, or hand off to your ticketing system. You decide what counts as "Vox's job" and what gets escalated — confidence thresholds are tunable per intent.

Is this HIPAA compliant?+

Business and Scale plans include a BAA, PHI-safe handling, and PII redaction at both transcript and log level. Full SOC 2 Type II report and HIPAA deployment guide available under NDA.

Can we use our own voice / brand persona?+

Yes. Business gets persona tuning — name, tone, vocabulary. Scale supports full voice cloning from 10 minutes of sample audio, legal clearance, and white-label deployment.

What if our call volume spikes unexpectedly?+

Concurrent calls are unlimited on every plan. You'll only see additional cost if your total minutes for the month exceed your allowance, and you can set hard caps or auto-upgrade rules.
